GRAMMY® Award-winning multi-platinum artist, producer, actor, and director Kid Cudi has released his highly anticipated ninth studio album, INSANO, via Republic Records. This marks his first full-length offering since 2022, featuring collaborations with Travis Scott, Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, DJ Drama, and the late XXXTentacion.
The album showcases Cudi’s ability to break boundaries, presenting an expansive scope of interdimensional alternative hip-hop. INSANO debuted with an exclusive sold-out listening event at the iconic Hollywood Palladium. The album art offers four cover-art variations, including artwork by renowned artist and designer, KAWS, and a rendition featuring a character by multimedia artist Glassface.
Kid Cudi and KAWS have also teamed up for a limited collection of eight pieces, available exclusively on shop.kidcudi.com. The collection includes standout items such as a multi-level pile rug, a 500-piece puzzle, classic heavyweight cut + sew garments, and more.
INSANO was ushered in with the track “AT THE PARTY” [with Pharrell Williams & Travis Scott], praised by NME as “hypnotic” and by Rolling Stone for its “speaker-rattling kick drums, bass thumps, and heady synths.” US Weekly dubbed it “a mid-autumn club banger,” while HYPEBEAST highlighted the chemistry between Cudi and Pharrell.
Kid Cudi’s last project was 2022’s ENTERGALACTIC, accompanied by the NETFLIX project of the same name, nominated for an EMMY Award. The album, which received critical acclaim for being some of Cudi’s most enjoyable music in a decade, debuted in the Top 15 of the Billboard 200 and garnered a nomination at the NAACP Image Awards.
